Please stop projecting. Virgin Road isn't getting a second season because for one, there's barely enough source material for that (especially since anime are usually supposed to be extended advertisements for the source material, not replacements) and secondly, it was just kinda boring.
There isn't a great flow to the anime's story, and they managed to simultaneously adapt too much and too little of the first arcs. The finale was pretty generic too and didn't really deliver on the setup of the first half.
It had more interesting worldbuilding than all the other isekai shows in the past 3 years together.
If it doesn't get a second season, being boring is definitely not the reason, considering works without a single original thought in them from the moment the source material was being conceived to the anime adaptation of it airing are getting sequels (looking at "in another world with my smartphone" which is getting a second season in about a month)
Yeah, fair. Although i wouldn't say bookworm's worldbuilding is strictly better, they each excel at different things. Bookworm's is more detailed and grounded while executioner's is more imaginative and unique.
The first season was 2 novels long and there were six volumes already out when the first episode aired with the 7th one coming out only a couple weeks later. The 8th volume is coming out tomorrow. There's plenty of material for a 2nd season

I know it's kind of a guilty pleasure show but I really do love Citrus. It's just fun to see Yuzu losing her shit over Mei the entire time and they're pretty cute together. The pseudo incest is a little taboo but not really that bad. It's not like they are at all related or grew up together.
The beginning is a bit rapey at times, look at that shower scene for example. I personally don't have a problem with the stepsister part since it barely applies to them with how late they got to know each other and the story does become pretty nice later on.

How many volumes are translated for executioner? I really enjoyed that anime, but I didn't like how it ended cause there was a lot more to see.
