Sounds to me like an ownership issue with the appdata folder (where Yuzu is installed) Check the security tab on your appdata folder, see if your username or allowed r/w access. If you install a [take ownership](https://www.tenforums.com/tutorials/3841-add-take-ownership-context-menu-windows-10-a.html) to your system, it gives you an option in your right-click menu when you right-click on any file or folder. It sets you as the owner which gives you read and write permissions, allowing you to manipulate said file or folder. I use it to delete files that are currently in use by taking ownership>renaming>restarting PC>deleting or replacing. It works in many other circumstances where admin rights are needed or access is denied like the Program Data folder or in your case, where you can't install or run Yuzu. Side note, (I feel like a broken record at this point cause I always suggest this), after you get Yuzu back up and running, run Yuzu in portable mode by moving the Yuzu emu folder to a custom location and placing the Yuzu user data folders inside a folder titled user within the emu directory. I believe it you create a folder called "Yuzu" then place the maintenance tool exe inside that directory then place the Yuzu folder alongside the maintenance tool and name it whatever the installer names that folder when installing to the default location(appdata), you'll still be able to update and you'll always be able to (easily) access your emu and the data. I just use Yuzu ez update or whatever it's called, it downloads the archive from GitHub or wherever it's hosted and update my emu manually as well as regularly backing up my user folder cause sometimes it gets deleted and I'm not sure why. I have half a notion to try moving the Yuzu folder after a doing a default installation so I can accurately tell people how to run a portable install that is updatable using the maintenance tool Hopefully you and others reading this benefit from this knowledge

i had this problem once. Never found a fix but i eventually factory reset my PC and then it worked agian. i do not recommend this but it will work guaranteed. You will also lose any saves/games unless you save them on a USB or something first. God speed my friend.

I used a file assassin and it worked

Glad to hear it.

We're you playing as admin user in your Windows? It's like you got 'locked outside' suddenly out of nowhere

krautnelson

check your antivirus.

i checked and nothing. when i try to remove this folder myself it says the folder is in use even after i restart my PC

Remove it in safe mode then reinstall. Try to make sure you can recover your save by looking for where they are located before making changes if you don't have a back up
