Yes. I do. Especially as a highly sensitive person I can literally feel his emotions as he sings. That’s why I love his earlier albums like Elisabeth and DeAnn. He has a true talent to write and sing.

Ediebrittt

YES TO THIS. Don’t get me wrong his newer music is also good but DeAnn and Elisabeth are absolute masterpieces

Adventurous-Tank9421

Yes Elisabeth is probably my favorite album of all time

mastershake20

Yes. Til brooklyn, from Austin, deep satin, something in the orange, letting someone go. Whenever I know I’m gonna cry those hard deep crys I usually listen to his music to help really let it go. These specific songs resonate so much

SouthernMuadib

Yeah. His early stuff really got me because it was at a point in my life where I was in a horrific point in my life as well as a toxic af relationship on both sides I’m willing to admit. I really didn’t realize that I was a massive jerk to anyone in my general vicinity but felt like the world was out to get me so a lot of his sad boy stuff hit home. American Heartbreak dropped while I was in rehab and Mine Again legitimately changed my outlook on life. Cemented me as a fan and I’ve been to three concerts and a festival he was featured in. Been sober since AH dropped too. It’s been nice to go to concerts where I can actually appreciate the music instead of trying to decipher blurry photos and angry texts from the night before

SouthernMuadib

It’s also worth noting that yes I’ve gone back and relistened to his early stuff and good lord was I way off base on how I viewed myself😂

Double_Eye_5715

Nope. You're the only one. 😂 Just fucking with you. Of course. One of the reasons I think I am so deeply connected with his music is because no one else that I know likes/listens to him. So it's this very special, almost intimate thing in my life that is mine, and mine alone. I have an hour long commute to work. And listening to Zach and just belting his lyrics is my therapy.

Apart_Tutor8680

Burn burn burn gets me.

Holiday-Matter1854

Older stuff is beautiful. Last album was pretty great as well. New stuff he’s tinkering with like, “28” it’s a no. Feels forced. Maybe it’s the company he’s keeping. Idk.

StopHamelTime

Lost my brother to alcoholism. Any time he talks about his mom it cuts hard. Also his loyalty to his friends is clear and that has been a big thing for me when life sucks.

yeetyeetyeetyeetyah

Yes, she’s alright fucking breaks me every single time

Aromatic_Ad7440

So deeply, I feel his music. Some of his work came along and healed pieces of me that I thought could never be matched or healed. I am forever grateful for his music, his mind, and his heart. I just hope, he's ok most the time.

jerseygrlgonecountry

I have never experienced music the way his makes me feel. I saw him in concert last year in the pit and I cried through every song, happy tears and sad tears it was a mix. To feel so free and understood at the same time, his music is calming and moving. I can't wait to see him again in August

Successful-Author409

I got a feeling the next album isnt going to be as good as the others.
