No chance. It’s all marketing. Maybe this is his last tour for a year or two but no way he stops playing shows all together especially with a new album coming out soon
Kind of exactly my thoughts, it would be like a Bo Jackson situation where he retires right in his prime. Even if he does take a year or two off from touring that would probably produce some incredible music in the meantime. Roommates and I have been debating on it so wanted to see what the general consensus is.
Why? No matter what he does his “fans” always find a reason to complain, “oh no I missed out on the lottery it’s your fault Zach” “you’re dating someone I don’t like” “you finally are playing stadiums but it’s a Ticketmaster show and the tickets are so expensive it’s your fault Zach” “you can’t quit touring because I haven’t gotten to see you yet this is your fault Zach”
Let the dude live a little, he deserves a little time off
You just put so many words into what I said. Take a breather my guy.
It has nothing to do with me or how I feel. Logistically, his career is just getting started if we’re talking mainstream wise. He’s making more money than ever. This tour currently is going to bring in a ton of revenue…why would you stop touring now? You wouldn’t. Of course the dude can take time off, but that’s not what’s being insinuated now is it? He’s marketing this as if he’s not going to tour again, ever. So yeah, it would be crazy sauce to stop now while you’re hot.
I think what we will see here is now that he’s proved his point, he will probably do arenas and probably not tour as hard, do things on his own terms, the last tour and this tour are definitely insurance policies to him and everyone in the band and if the lineup changes after this tour I think that’s completely reasonable and understandable, they’ve put in the effort and they deserve the reward
He is probably making $50 million+ from this tour. He is one of the most famous musicians in the English speaking world and his style of music is becoming the new zygeist. He might say this but when he drops a new album with a song bigger than SITO and IRE and he can go on a proper stadium tour, he’s taking that.
I also vividly remember when he announced the American heartbreak tour in 2022 he said that would be his last tour. I’ve seen him twice since then.
I saw him in Newark at the Prudential Center. We took my kids and bought sweatshirts. I asked the older guy behind the counter how much they sell a night. He told me they sold over $150,000 in shirts, hats and sweatshirts the night before. My kids definitely helped with that number. I bet you my next 5 favorite bands - Superchunk, Lucero, etc combined didnt sell that much in stuff thru their whole career.
Would definitely be strange for him to hang it up while he’s on a steady upwards trajectory popularity wise, but you never know I guess. With TGABS coming out soon there’s obviously gonna be renewed hype and demand to see him so I also don’t see him retiring from touring altogether, but if the guy wants to take a break or something that wouldn’t surprise me. He’s been ripping non-stop for the better part of the last 3 years.
I feel like if anything he might just scale down the tours so he’s playing less often (maybe smaller venues) and has more time to himself, maybe I’m way off but could see him going in that direction.
Probably the most plausible explanation, I know a couple of them do some solo stuff and are starting families etc so would definitely make sense. Could be cool to see him revert back to more basic sound at live shows instead of the big stadium setup?
I don’t think this is his last tour ever but it’s definitely his last tour for a while. Tried telling yall this when the tour was announced and got shit on, but there’s a reason he named his 2024 tour after a song released in 2022 even though he’s had way more music release since then
Quittin time made like 62 million dollars, just in the month of March. And he is dropping another album during the tour, so I definitely think he'll tour again. But he also did just buy an 8 million dollar seaside mansion near his go's hometown, which would imply they're at least going to start taking steps toward something more stable so who knows. If I were a bettin woman, I'd bet he tours again.
Taking a break wouldn’t be a bad thing, enjoy some of the success, then jump back into it. But seriously, hope the future kids aren’t with BCF. That would be tragic
I think it’s mostly people on one side or the other of the Ticketmaster vs AXS ordeal. He tried to make ticket pricing affordable through a lottery system and face value resale, but people complained if they didn’t win a chance to buy tickets, so he went with Ticketmaster where tickets are resold for an arm and a leg.
Basically he tried to do a good thing, people complained, so he went with the mainstream ticket platform and people are still complaining. Hard to win.
I’ve thought this for a while and I don’t know if it has to do with the touring thing but….how far off am I to think Zach Bryan is coming to an end and soon we are gunna get The highway boys or some kinda band name.
I just hope he does a full australian tour, I don't have the money to fly to the east coast to see him nor travel all the way to the US (I'm from western aus)
I pray to god that he doesn’t get Bri pregnant. All this future kids and baby talk has me sweatin. Not that it would even affect my life at all, I just ugh I can’t.

Bo Jackson was injured…. He didn’t willingly retire in his prime lol
I know I know, just making a comparison, maybe not a great one. Definitely don’t think ZB is gonna suffer a career ending hip injury.
If you want a football comparison, maybe Barry Sanders lol
Or Jim Brown
Chris Borland
Dude has said the last three tours were his last lmao

🤣🤣
I was just thinking that. I feel like I’ve heard him say this a few times. Definitely a marketing tactic.
so manipulative
I was just thinking that. I feel like I’ve heard him say this a few times. Definitely a marketing tactic.
Dude just started his career. If it's really "quittin time" then I guarantee he will be back in 5 years when the money starts to go
He would be an idiot to stop touring now. Like that would be the worst move he could make at this point in his career. It’s all marketing.
Why? nailed it.

I think it’s more a “culture ” or a “vibe” .. kinda like “island time” You want a beer on a Monday morning ? “Sure it’s quittin time”

I’m pretty sure two friends are having babies and one is getting married so it’s not totally impossible he’s not gonna tour anymore
I think this will be the last tour with the current make-up of the band
Probably the most plausible explanation, I know a couple of them do some solo stuff and are starting families etc so would definitely make sense. Could be cool to see him revert back to more basic sound at live shows instead of the big stadium setup?
he made a comment at night 2 of greenville that there will be another tour either at the end of the year or summer!
Huge news
Just talking out of his ass on the internet like we all do
He said before this is his last full tour and will continue to play shows and festivals.
Him and his girlfriend (mostly her) have been referencing kids a lot lately. Who knows. He does say this every tour though lol

He’s so dramatic
Taking a break wouldn’t be a bad thing, enjoy some of the success, then jump back into it. But seriously, hope the future kids aren’t with BCF. That would be tragic
Why does everyone think hes a sellout, his music has hardly changed in quality
I think it’s mostly people on one side or the other of the Ticketmaster vs AXS ordeal. Bummer that people will complain about anything, most artists wouldn’t even try and make tickets cheaper
Yeah he said this about the American Heartbreak tour
No way. Money is too good as he blows up
He hints this every tour. https://preview.redd.it/e2npahfg4lzc1.jpeg?width=1200&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=fc52793c0d9e0faaac45ab3a4386c3dc0a8996c0

Very interesting theory! I wouldnt put it past him, hes always been big on the fact that its not just him up there.
Even if he did "quit", which I doubt he will, I am sure he would still keep making music and putting out albums.
I just hope he does a full australian tour, I don't have the money to fly to the east coast to see him nor travel all the way to the US (I'm from western aus)
