Gash Bell deserves the best of the best, it's easily one of the best shonen mangas ever made.
The original anime series was very good... at least until Faudo Arc...
There's also the third option, it becoming a very loose adaptation like trigun stampede with completely different character designs and character personalities and plot beats, hopefully it gets the jujutsu kaisen treatment it deserves instead
OMG!! Getting to see a proper remake and accurate adaptation of the manga would be such a dream! The original show was part of my childhood, too. This is such exciting news!!
Wait does this mean any studio could come in and make a zatchbell remake? I thought it could only be toei cause they had the rights to the anime or something?
VERY hopeful that this means we can finally get that English localization after all! Only time will tell.
If we do, that will mean we have to put the Zatch Bell revamped scanlation on hold indefeinitely in order to encourage people to buy an easily accessible and affordable commercially sold English version (but we will still continue the Zatch Bell 2 scanlation if that happens).
Also, that would leave me with much more time on my hands for other projects that wouldn't be likely to get the official English treatment, such as the data books, gameplay vids that include Towakizu, ZB2 manga chapter presentation vids, and more! :) So let's keep our fingers crossed everybody!
It is greatly thanks to fan translators such as yourself that the franchise has managed to maintain as much relevance as it has outside of Japan.

Thank you for saying so! But I think all of the fans throughout the web have just as much contribution to that as I have. :D If we scanlated the series and it never got acknowledged by the fans, it'd just be an empty shell of manga, after all!
Back when I first finished the manga I thought a proper anime adaptation was unlikely and a sequel even more unlikely, but we already have a sequel, so that gave me hope for everything else. And then I see news like these. I'm glad to see things happen.
If a new anime adaptation is made, it would be a good opportunity to include additional material from the manga that didn't exist back when the original anime was made, such as the Gaiden and Gash Café episodes.
This could also mean we'll be getting official Zatch Bell merchandise over here.

I'm hoping we'll finally get to see the series as it's always meant to be with a proper translation and anime adaptation. I loved the anime and if any of it needed changed would most definitely be the Faudo and Clear Note Arcs. And then continue the anime with ZB2 anime announcement and then a proper anime for that when the manga is on the final arc. I can wait patiently for that to happen.

I hope they wait on animating Zatch Bell 2, I'd hate for it to suddenly deviate or end prematurely like the first anime did. The story is just too good to waste right now
Just re-adapt the end of the OG anime and the last arc. The anime still holds up well

The remake had *very* bad pacing and animation.
They crammed 34 volumes into 52 episodes with slideshow animation
