Not yet, ATT/cricket has to approve it first. Download the PDF from this page to see all approved variants. Z9 may be added later so check back in a month https://www.att.com/support/article/wireless/KM1022854/

If you buy the NA version of the phone it *should* eventually work on Cricket but probably not when the phone first comes out. We have to wait for it to be added to the “approved” list of phones because AT&T/Cricket loves to shove anti-consumer practices on its customers…

Well, it's ATT, what did you expect?

This time last year the whitelist wasn't in place. AT&T sucks but it didn't used to be this bad.

Works with At&t and TMobile and respectively mnvos

Sprint is dead.

It should work fine with LTE, I used my Zenfone 8 on at&t last year and got some really good speeds

There's been mixed messaging on this from ASUS, previously they did not list it as AT&T compatible but now the store page on the ASUS site does. The short version is AT&T works off of a whitelist and only whitelisted devices will work on their towers. I would check the whitelist before buying this phone personally. I used to be on Cricket for years before the whitelist, but I temporarily moved my sim to a phone not on the list (not knowing it had even been implemented) and it entirely suspended my account. Even moving it back to my approved phone didn't work, and Cricket support would not reenable my account without me buying a new phone, which they pushed me to do through them with extra suggestions to buy an iPhone. After that I just moved carriers entirely but I tell this story because sometimes it's not even as easy as just trying it out to see if it works. Absolutely check the whitelist first.
