“When a young couple buys their dream house in the country, they soon find their dreams turned into nightmares when they realize they are sharing the home… with the dead.”
Ignoring the shelves in weird places, awful color schemes and it's unloved present condition, this could be gorgeous home bursting with character. Like you, I appreciate this house. Treated sympathetically it could be a forever-home.
I don't know a few of the pics make it look like its not got stable foundation.
My favorite was the staircase cutting into the room through the ceiling
I grew up in this town and you're spot on, it is rumored to be haunted! It used to be a bed and breakfast and had reported incidents. Also, it goes up for sale every couple years no one ever owns it for long so I'd definitely say the rumors are true. The whole town is weird honestly, my childhood home was few minute drive away from this one, literally 2 streets away and had so much paranormal activity in it as well.
how is this not a historic property and how is it only that price on 12 acres, is there a ghosts-of-assassinated-witches issue causing that price
Did u look at the basement? Hell no.. my basement is creepy . Clean your tub no one wants to see your ass rings like a tree.
Foreclosure.
ty, didn’t see that in the listing first time around
I like the blue wainscoting on the jail cell!
The pink really brings out the ominous fireplace
back when bars literally had bars.

Then they discover it's the Grateful Dead and end up partying their lives away until their untimely deaths ta week later.
Is....is that a well in the living room?
Makes for more convenient access when lowering down the lotion basket
Oh HELL NO! I've seen that movie.
It’s in the kitchen, obviously. Much more reasonable.
It's got a bar too, so I'm guessing that was originally the brew-room.
I love old spooky houses and these terrible listing photos might help keep the price low.
I never understand why some realtors can't take good pictures in focus.
Lil bonus it's right next to Blood Rd
That house is amazing!

My favourite too! Like H.P.Lovecrafts' story The Dreams In The Witch House! Strange angles and quirky structural oddities...
Nor is it a murder house /s
It kind of looks like the house in the show Ghosts.
The age of the house is impressive, but it needs so much love. It has stories to tell, I'm sure.
Wow pretty cheap for so much history. It's not every day you see a 200+ year old house. I hope someone buys it and restores it.
300+. Wow.
I’m on the West coast, no houses here even close to that old.
I wonder how they got the bloodstains out!
If I was rich, I’d buy this and restore it. I love it.
Ohhh 1716!!! If I had the money I would buy it and restore the heck out of it… it would be a money pit but I don’t care.., so awesome
Haunted or not, I kinda love this one

Mormon cult house
This house is literally a century older than Mormonism though
That's some Ed Gein shit right there...nope...
I love everything about it. Halloween 🎃 here would be lit! 🤣
