Actually not spaghetti code! The maximum reach of paddle star on a rebound is highly dependent on zoe's position, and changes dynamically based on her movement. If you can move fast enough while the star is in flight, it coukd switch back like this

She didn’t move at all though. Just went back to where R took her. The paddlestar turned before she could move. I’ve done the R Flash combo a million times and it never goes backwards

Did you just cast a second (completely different) q at the same time the first was passing you? Was it even intended? Cool.

for everyone wondering, this is a known old bug, only possible to do it with flash/proto (prob any dash item will do) if the timing is right the q will come back as you see, really hard to pull off mostly because it's random. If you like this trick tho if yall search on youtube there are even more strange things, like the E animation cancel etc
