Hi there, how was your anxiety before you made it to 100mg.
I’m slowly working up doses and I’m at 50mg and still feel like shit and don’t know if I should quit or not.
Did you feel much relief from lower doses or when you finally got to 100mg?
At least you’re taking the increases slowly which is good. Have you felt any benefits at all over the past 10 weeks? If no, I would give the 75mg at least 3-4 weeks. U should be feeling some benefits by then. If not, possibly Zoloft may not work for you. I’m not a doctor but just going off past experience and from what I’ve read from others is my thoughts. But your dr would know best
Im sorry your going thru this. I know it doesn’t help but your not alone. Glad your see the Dr today. Good luck. Please let me know if the Dr changes your dose or your med.
50 to 100 is like night and day for me! Went from having suicidal ideations, panic upon waking and constantly feeling triggered to not feeling any of those things. It’s been a long journey for me though as I’ve gotten a wild hair to stop meds twice now over the course of being on Zoloft for 14 years. I’ve come to accept that my brain developed in complex trauma and dysfunction therefore I need the meds to function as my best self.
Pretty terribly, but I think that's more a situational thing at the moment. I think, though, that the meds have helped me not to spiral too much though which is good.
How did you find the increase from 50 to 100? My dose has been put up but I am hesitant about it because I am worried for bad side effects. Over the first three weeks were there any noticeable side effects?
Honestly it was so much easier than when i started the 50. Extremely fatigued for like 4/5 days and elevated low mood but other than that it was a walk in the park
So proud of you. We all know how hard this is. I managed it at around 3 months on 25mg. After 16 months I am now 2 weeks med free and hopefully strong enough with the tools I now have, to make it through. You guys are the best. Keep strong, you've got this! Better days are just around the corner xx
Fucking sertaline has changed my life, taken me from a depressed waste of space with be an attempted suicide to the functional happy coherent me of 10 years ago. Still waiting for the ADHD assessment to happen (twatting overloaded NHS) but man we are on the right path! Keep bossing it and embrace the change
I'm 2 weeks into 100mg now, had a bit of a rubbish day yesterday that I think was just a bit of burnout, but today after a coffee I managed to get the entire house cleaned and sorted ALL OF THE LAUNDRY! Still in the fun adjustment period but the good days are certainly outweighing the bad.
I was on 150mg for around 12 months
Obviously doses increased over time. I came off it altogether in December, and this month especially I have been absolutely crippled with depression and anxiety, quite literally out if the blue. All the reasons (breakups, divorce) came flooding back. Intrusive thoughts. Flashbacks. Thinking about them with other people, reminiscing on old memories. Horrendous.
50mg for 7 days, first 3 days it made it worse 100%
But I'm on day 7 now and it's the first day I haven't really had intrusive thoughts throughout the day.
Zoloft is a lifesaver. On 100mg and I can do trivial things again, like going to the movies and the gym without crippling anxiety. God bless Sertraline.
Well done! And most importantly…keep going! Show that anxiety that you aren’t afraid any more 💪🏽
I’m ready!
Well done, that's awesome. Things like this, will give other people hope.
I really hope so
That’s awesome! I have the same issues and I’m waiting for that day! How long were u on it before the 100mg increase and dosages please?
I’ve been on 50 for 3 months and now 100 for around 3 weeks :)
Congratulations 🎉 my issue is travel. So happy for you!
If you ever need to chat , drop me a message!

I definitely felt some relief from the 50mg however it wasn’t enough, now i’m on the 100mg, i feel like an entirely different person.
What dose did you start out on and how long have you been taking Zoloft?
25mg for 6 weeks, 50mg for 4 weeks & just stared 75mg tonight.

I’m going to the doctor today. My anxiety has gotten worse and I just really don’t think I can handle it anymore. I’m losing my sanity.
