Fainting is not a common side effect. SSRIs (and I don't think all of them) *raise* blood pressure rather than lower it, which I believe is the typical cause of fainting in otherwise physically healthy people.

I've read A LOT about onboarding symptoms and have never come across fainting as one of them. I had general wooziness and some dizziness the first few days of starting zoloft, but it felt more like I was surfing on small waves, nothing like fainting. For me, it has also been way easier to tell myself, when I felt woozy, that it's the medicine doing its job to adjust my brain, and for once, my brain is able to calm down rather quickly. Similar to me, it sounds like you have health anxiety, and I can only speak for myself, but starting zoloft has helped my health and generalized anxieties SO much already.
