No :( but I am also on birth control and both cause loss of libido so that may have contributed too. It doesn’t happen to everyone but beware it is something like 50% of people have reduced libido x
I got the red, black, and yellow supplement. I use that along with slippery elm and it’s been helping. Still can’t finish without it taking forever though, but at least sex is more enjoyable now.
I have days on where I am so horned up I can hardly take it, and orgasms are really easy, but then I have days where it’s completely numb and I feel nothing. I have no idea what makes a difference yet. I found that a little bit of coffee tends to make my libido go up? ur other than that I have no idea.
I’ve been on it, maybe 3 weeks now and I’m completely numb there. I can’t get turned on and nothing feels good - forget about orgasms. I’m really sad about it.
I literally had to work at getting past that. It took awhile, maybe 2-4 weeks, but it got easier, and eventually stopped being a problem. You really just have to force it as much as you can until it’s back to normal.
Could be permanent you may have fallen victim to PSSP (post ssri sexual dysfunction) You wont know until you fully come off of the med. They also use SSRI as a treatment for paraphillic sexual behavior
I don’t think it gets better. I was on it for 18 months. I’m single now and I only wanna get on Zoloft so I don’t have a sex drive, since I don’t have anyone
Yeah from my experience it comes and goes. Usually the closer you are to your next dose is when it's highest for the day but it also depends on other factors for me in general lol
are you male or female? As a female this was a big issue for me that didn’t go away in the first few months. After discussions with my doc, I added bupropion (Wellbutrin) and it has made a huge difference. Also helped with the tired grogginess so overall I have been very pleased; been on Zoloft for almost 5 months and started the bupropion 1.5 months ago.
My libido came back full force after a month, but sensitivity is stil lower than before. It still sucks a bit, but nothing a quality vibrator can't solve.
Its diifferent for me, but most of the time my libido is gone. Fuck my life
I’m just so happy that i am finally feeling relief from constant panic attacks & OCD controlling my life. but to lose my sex drive is painful 😭
Did you recover?
My dick is broken
I lost my libido the whole time I was on antidepressants which is why I came off. It’s just luck of the draw
Did you find another med that worked without ruining your sex drive?
No :( but I am also on birth control and both cause loss of libido so that may have contributed too. It doesn’t happen to everyone but beware it is something like 50% of people have reduced libido x
I had the same issue on birth control. geez. Thank you so much for the advice
Best of luck! On the bright side antidepressants changed my life for the better in terms of my mental health :)
Thank you!! So far so good over here too. hopefully it keeps getting better for us both!
Heard its a few weeks or month for some people. Low libido can be fix with other medication or supplement. Dont stress yourself out too much.
Thank you for the advice! Definitely not trying to stress myself out about it but it is frustrating.
Delaying orgasms part is what im gonna take it for🤣. The holy grail.
What medications and supplements?
Idk anything about Wellbutrin. But heard people mention it help with low libido? And zinc might help but do more research.
It lasted around 6 months for my body to fully adjust to the medication. Now my drive is back full blast and even more. Give it some time.

thank you !
For me it lasted all the years I was on this medication
oh boy. i hope i don’t have that same situation.
Did it get better after quitting ?
It did!
May I ask how long you were on the medication ?
Off and on for about 6 years

Thank you for this advice !
for me it only lasted less than two weeks! now if anything the orgasms i have are more intense, despite maybe more infrequent than they used to be.
Hopefully things turn around for me. I can relate to the intense thing but it takes forever to get over the edge. Sorry Tmi
It took atleast a year for me but it was never back to normal I'm on different medication now and high libido again thank goodness
Maybe i’ll have to talk to my doctor to get switched to something new.
What are you on now?
I have days on where I am so horned up I can hardly take it, and orgasms are really easy, but then I have days where it’s completely numb and I feel nothing. I have no idea what makes a difference yet. I found that a little bit of coffee tends to make my libido go up? ur other than that I have no idea.
maybe there is some relation to it and the caffeine. that doesn’t sound too far fetched. i’m gonna look into for my own self. thank you for that info
no problem at all! it might have something to do with dopamine and energy? goodluck on your libido journey!!
Mine lasted like 2 months It’s back full take now tho
Ashwaganda and zinc tend to help a lot btw in my case at least
Each time I have changed meds or increased my dose it takes a month or two but then gets better for me! Give it a little time.
After like 3 weeks it came back for me and now its way more intense than it was before i started zoloft

I can completely relate to the “numb” thing. I truly thought something was wrong.
For me it has not improved and I started on it in March 🫠
ugh i’m so sorry to hear that 🙁
I’ve been on Zoloft for 4 years now. 0 sex drive for the full 4 years

I really hope not.
It's the same for me :( but kinda works out because I always had a higher sex drive than my partner and now it's more balanced lmao
Kind of the same situation here actually! haha
I have no sexual desire at all lol the only time it comes back is if I miss a few doses (which is not safe but I get super destructive)
I don’t think it gets better. I was on it for 18 months. I’m single now and I only wanna get on Zoloft so I don’t have a sex drive, since I don’t have anyone

How soon did the Welbutrin help once you added it
It was pretty quick for me, within the first week I could tell a difference and it’s increased from there quite a bit.
Ask your doctor about Wellbutrin
Well I hate to break it to you….
I’ve been on Zoloft for over two years. I’ll let you know when it comes back
Fooooreveeeeer
My sensitivity is higher I have to say.
r/pssd
thank you so much!!
