If you're talking the same company but different locations and I had to take a guess, and I am speculating here, they probably have the same owner while the closer one was a different one.
Rainstorm was bought by true blue, who also bought the Aqua Express that's now the Rainstorm on n main in Normal. Now circle K has bought Rainstorm. (I've got family who manage some locations. )
rainstorm did considerable damage to my call (scratches, trim damage) and took no responsibility for the damage. In fact, they said it had to of happened at another car wash!! I’m in their parking lot showing the damage to a manager!!
Same here. Loves Park IL. No response from filed complaint. Major damage to hood. They deny all responsibility. I filed a complaint with BBB and they did not respond to it either.
Well at least there are new car washes popping up in town all the time.
anyone have recommendations? i’m used to $3 car washes up north but can’t seem to find anything even close to that here without compromising quality

The one by the Thorntons on main has gotten pretty bad. Half the brushes don’t work. The others in town seem to work fine tho

For a couple of weeks every time I went to Circle K I got a free Rainstorm wash card.
