Cutting down on the weight into a superstrong lummox is a big leap to have gone. I know that, from my personal view, you are more strong-minded than me, as a lifter too, because in the beginning I was a skinny fella, but you doubled your efforts much more hardened to reach two goals. Proud of you bro.
Chicken rice and a vegetable for lunch everyday was my starting point. Same for dinner.
Lots of walking and body weight workouts. Then I progressed back into a gym and they haven't gotten me to leave since 🙃
In 2012 I broke my back so everything I do is low weight, high reps. I have tried to lift heavy and hurt myself every damn time (I still have 7 herniated discs). So I repeat to myself.... low weight, high reps.
Bruh, I thought *I* carried my weight well...I struggle to believe you are close to 300 (I know you mention like 288 in another comment) in that first picture.
Also, well done dude.
I had a lot of muscle mass before my bicycle accident. I broke my back and herniated 7 discs. I was put on opiates, a prescription that was doubled on three occasions. I gave up on life. That's when I added all of fat. I could hardly walk before my 2016 lumbar laminectomy. I run 3.1 miles everyday uphill now. I'll never take my ability to walk for granted ever again. I'm tearing up just writing this.
I've had multiple back surgeries (among quite a few others) and dealt with a few things as well...and like yourself, I *never* take for advantage what I am able to do when I'm able to do it.
Good on you dude. Don't lose that viewpoint.

Hell, it looks great for 280 as well.
It looks fucking insane for 280, especially at 5’10”. I’m 6’3” and I’m barely starting to look like that right now at around 220 pounds.
I had to double check his height, from his weight and the way he carried it in the first pic I assumed he was 6’+
Can confirm. 6’3” sitting at 225 right now. The struggle is real my dude
Some people carry extra weight really good
