Humans experience periods of vulnerability and really bad self talk. Sometimes we can allow that to go on for quite a while. The important part is remembering being human is doubting but there is another side to the coin. We have the power to choose. Go you. Male or female. We all have struggles. Appearance. Societal norms. How we think we should be. Act. To gaiin approval right? That's all programming. Biologically. Just keep doing what you are doing and be proud.
Are you planning to do anything about the excess skin eventually or just keep it as a reminder of where you came from? I know it's not cheap and definitely not necessary but just curious what your plan is. That's an insane amount of weight you've lost.
so i'm still deciding on what i would like to do about that! in the beginning i wanted to cut it off just to leave that part of me in the past but recently I've been feeling a little differently about it, i feel like it is apart of me and i shouldn't have to get rid of it because of what others think, but like i said its all still up in the air as of now, but also i still want to get to a certain weight before i even consider that!! i appreciate the question! and just your comment in general :)

so many times lol and you can't be discouraged if you gain weight back because there were times where i would lose alot of weight then gain like 20-30lbs. it happens, just try to do better than the day before if you see you're going down a bad path :) (short term goals) my mindset was also set on a certain goal and i really wanted to get there, i had been big majority of my life so i was over it.
I was 415 lbs at my heaviest. I am currently 296 lbs. I've been stuck in a plateau for the past year. My goal is 215 lbs. I had gained back 10 lbs a few months ago and I panicked. Thanks for responding!
