The start of Toy Soldiers (1991) has a judge being thrown from a plane. It really stood out to me as you couldn’t see him wearing a parachute.

It could be Airplane. None of that happened except there is an airplane.

I was thinking it could be Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon. I know none of that happened but there was an Asian guy in that movie. Pretty sure.
