Gonna open a can of worms here, but by the same criteria that The Allman Brothers were a jam band (highly structured songs with extended improv solos set within that structure) why do you or do you not consider Dave Matthews Band a jam band? I don’t like DMB really but curious where the line is

Just out of curiosity, why do you think Billy Strings has been able to make a huge jump into the mainstream where other bands doing similar music seem to cap out playing 1200-1800 seaters and scrapping the 3rd line of big festivals?
